How it works:
Heat therapy interacts with the body to alleviate pain associated with muscle and tissue strain or damage. Heat therapy dilates the blood vessels of the muscles to increase the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the muscles helping to heal damaged tissue.
Heat stimulates the sensory receptors in the skin, which means that applying heat to the affected area will decrease transmissions of pain signals to the brain and thereby relieve the discomfort. Consequently, with heat therapy, there will be a decrease in muscle stiffness and an overall feeling of relief.

How to use:
  • Open package and expose pad to the air
  • The pad will heat up within 20 minutes after opening
  • Remove the paper from the adhesive backing and apply to the required body area.
  • Never open until ready to use.

Wear for 20-30 minutes. 
Once the pad cools down, gently peel it off and discard. Remove immediately if the pad gets too hot for you.
Do not use for longer than 12 hours within a 24 hour period.

Caution - If pad becomes too hot or if irritation occurs, remove pad immediately. Do not microwave. Safety Information - Supervisor is required when using this product on the elderly, with children, the physically disabled or handicapped individuals. Do not use more than 8 hours in any 24 hour period.

Do not use on infants, on frostbitten or desensitised skin, while sleeping, or bruising or swelling that has occurred within the last 48 hours. If not used correctly, high temperature burns may occur. Check your skin periodically for any signs of irritation. Keep out of reach of small children. Do not eat. Do not use with medicated lotions, creams, gels, ointment, or in combination with other heating devices. Consult your doctor if you are diabetic, have poor circulation, have rheumatoid arthritis, or are pregnant. For external use only. Do not puncture pad. In case of accidental eye contact with contents, rinse thoroughly with water. In case of ingestion, consult a poison control center immediately.

Under Regulations, 28(3)(a) Consumer Contracts you can refuse returns of items that were sent out sealed for hygiene reasons if they come back unsealed. Hygiene products which relate to personal hygiene and self-care are generally non-returnable. Hygiene products, toiletry products, bathroom products, body braces, foam cushions, wheelchair cushions, stockings, splints and products that come in contact with the body; cannot be returned - they are single use patient items. NO hygiene products can be returned if the packaging has been opened per Public Health Policy.

NO items will be collected unless accompanied by the following:

Original packaging
All accessories (if applicable)
A note explaining the reason for the return and / or the manufacturing fault
Repairs in respect of products damaged by unreasonable use or by use for which the product is NOT intended and defects resulting from alteration, accident, misuse, abuse or neglect CANNOT be collected (should you (customer) insist, then you (customer) will be liable for ALL costs).

2. Warranty Against Defects
Homemark (Pty) Ltd warrants the product to be free of any defect in materials and workmanship for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase (“Warranty”). However, the warranty DOES NOT apply with respect of products damaged by unreasonable use or by use for which the product is NOT intended. The warranty will NOT cover defects resulting from alteration, accident, misuse, abuse or neglect.

3. Shipping and Delivery Procedure
We do not deliver any products outside of South Africa. If you are outside of South Africa, your order will be cancelled. ** THIS INCLUDES NAMIBIA ** Please do not try to register if you are not within the South African border.
If you want to return a product, you will have to send it into our Head Office in Wynberg in order to get a refund. A 7 Day Money Back Guarantee is afforded on all products.
All orders placed which are over R400 arrive free of delivery charge. This is ONLY for orders placed on the internet and does not relate to orders placed via phone. Delivery charges for furniture is based on each individual sale depending on the area.

4. Order Status Descriptions

Received: Is the default status for new orders. This means that the order is still waiting to be worked on.

Processing: The order has been entered into the Homemark Mail Ordering System and a new ref. number has been generated. If this is the status, you can call Customer Care to track the order. This does not mean the order has been given to our Courier company, merely that it is in our Mail Ordering System awaiting to leave dispatch.

Shipped: Once it has been given to the courier company, you will be provided with a tracking number in order to track your package with the couriers.

Cancelled: Normally used if the customer has requested the order to be cancelled, or no payment was received via Internet Transfer/Cheque order.
Fraud: If the order is deemed to be part of a Fraudulent action, the order will be updated to "Fraud" and the transaction will be reversed.

Awaiting Stock: Some of the time, an item will be out of stock, it will be put onto Back-Order until the new stock items arrives.

Waiting for Payment Confirmation: This is the default status for all orders that are made with the Internet Transfer. Once confirmation is received, this will be updated to "Processed"

Please allow between 2 and 5 working days for delivery. A 7-day Guarantee is applied to all products. A physical address is needed to send the products as we use a courier service. If you provide a P.O. Box, you will be asked to change it, depending on the size of the order.
